My husband and I are soon to be first time parents and we shopped in Mamas & Papas Stratford store a few weeks ago. What began as an overwhelming, intense experience was soon made into a lovely, pressure free time all thanks to Hind, one of the stores associates. I have spent a lot of money with this company in few months and today I received an incorrect item, I contacted the assistance and they arranged a new delivery of the correct item not before the 3 days, I pointed out to the customer care service that it was an item that allowed me to feed my newborn. given my rush to have this product, I also offered to go to the Stratford store to get the correct item that day, but this is not possible as it is not available, to apologize for the inconvenience they say that they will leave me the item sent by mistake in place of my Elvie Pump, an item that I have no need for as I have already purchased an item with the same function with you. it seems really absurd to me that a customer who has given your company so much money in a few months is handled with so little attention and you prefer to lose the customer.

We were able to try baby carriers of babybjorn brand here. as it’s expensive to acquire we wanted to make sure our baby fitted. The ladies on upper floor were so kind helping us try on the carrier. After acquiring the carrier they also showed us how to correctly mount it from the very start. The service was really top notch !

Very poor customer service and weird in store policies.
We came to look at the prams and all of them were securely locked to the extent that it was impossible to move them for more than 10 cm. So when you come to check the prams that are stored on weird height shelves, positioned in weird angles, immobile and there is zero staff to help, the visit to the store becomes redundand.
Also, on two occations I had to leave the goods at the till because the cashiers refused to issue a paper receipt and demanded my email address (despite the receipt printer being available). Me not providing my email address somehow was not an issue to get a paper receipt on my last visit.

My friend and I visited the store yesterday to look for pushchairs. We were greeted imminently by Adam. Adam was so knowledgeable and took his time to show us the products (and their features) that we were interested in. We went to the store with very little idea of what to buy, but Adam left my friend feeling confident about which pushchair to go for! So lovely to see staff take care of their customers and genuinely listen. Thank you!

Customer service is non existent.
We visited on Wednesday 14th August, just after midday. There were 2 members of staff upstairs, only one of which was on the tills dealing with customers & the other was unhelpfully dealing with stock (I assume?). There was no acknowledgment/greeting by either member of staff. I had to wait 15mins for them to unlock a bugaboo butterfly I wanted to test drive. Once finally unlocked and tested, I was interested in seeing the car seat adapter function. After waiting for 20mins with no sign of being addressed sooner, my partner went down stairs to the clothing department to see if the 3 members of staff sitting around the tills (doing nothing on an empty shop floor) could help, with what seemed like a straight forward query. They said they would ‘phone upstairs to get someone to come and assist.’ He came back upstairs to wait for said member of staff, and after 10mins the lady dealing with stock came over. When she arrived, the original lady on tills asked her ‘did they tell you to come over here’ with a smirk. We received no apology for the delay or ‘thank you for waiting’ i.e. Basic customer service skills. We were finally addressed and asked about the adapter function, to which the staff member went behind the tills and said ‘oh we don’t have the adapters here right now’ again, with a smirk on her face?! No apology or anything. So we wasted 30mins waiting around for absolutely nothing.
We ended up walking out of the store and decided to buy the pram, car seat and accessories elsewhere. The whole experience was really disappointing, which is a shame as I actually had a nostalgic feeling walking into the store as it is where I had bought my daughters pram 7 years earlier (with excellent service may I add).
The staff need to be trained on basic customer service skills. & you could add a seating area for heavily pregnant women that are expected to wait 30mins + to be dealt with.

I bought a buggy from this shop about 1 year ago. Some how rear brake was broken. So we went to shop if it can be fixed by paying service charge as it already one year. But they send it to repair department and lend us exactly same type another buggy to in the mean time. After 9 days got a text message that ready for collection. I was really surprised as they replaced rear both wheel with new one. My wife Keep saying this to her all friends when she goes to children centre. Please keep up your best customer service; don't let it be down. Thanks
